Shandong University of Finance and Economics (SDUFE), located in Ji’nan, was established on July 4th, 2011 by combining Shandong Economic University and Shandong University of Finance. Shandong Economic University was established in 1952 as Shandong Institute of Finance and Economics, which was the earliest college in finance and economics in Shandong province, and one of the earliest in China. Shandong University of Finance was established in 1986 jointly by the Ministry of Finance of China and the provincial government of Shandong province.
